Our Focus for Ages 9–12

Building Skills Through Fun

Lessons for ages 9–12 continue to be fun and encouraging while introducing more structure. Keiki in this age range are often ready to focus longer, follow multi-step instructions, and work toward clear goals—all while still enjoying the experience.

Developing Proper Archery Form

Children are guided through:

  • Proper stance and posture

  • Beginning accuracy and target practice using age-appropriate equipment

We help keiki develop responsibility and awareness by reinforcing:

  • Safety and Range rules

  • Listening for commands

  • Respect for equipment, instructors, and other students

Safety expectations are clear and consistently practiced.

Archery supports growth in:

  • Hand-eye coordination

  • Upper body strength

  • Focus and self-discipline

  • Confidence through skill progression

What Parents Can Expect:

Every child progresses at their own pace. Lessons for ages 9–12 include:

  • Structured instruction with room for individual support

  • Repetition to build consistency and confidence

  • Positive feedback and encouragement

There is no pressure to compete. Some keiki may advance quickly, while others take more time. Both are completely normal and supported.
